Expansion cards with PCIe 1x interface
prices on 43 modelsPCIe 1x
— connection via PCIe interface using 1 lane (data transmission channel).PCIe is the main modern interface for connecting expansion cards to the motherboard. The number of lanes affects, on one hand, the data transfer speed, and on the other, the connection features: the more channels, the faster the current version of PCIe and the larger the connector required for it. Consequently, PCIe 1x is the most compact and slowest variation of this interface: the data transfer speed through such a connector is slightly less than 1 GB/s per lane in PCIe 3.0 version and slightly less than 2 GB/s per lane for PCIe 4.0. These speeds are quite suitable for many expansion cards (see "Type"), but are considered insufficient for RAID controllers.
