Built-in mounting
— devices that are built into a wall niche during installation. In fact, these models are installed in the same way as ordinary wall sockets — with fixation in the wall and connection to the home electrical wiring through the terminals.Such installation is noticeably more complicated than that of non-built-in devices (see "socket") — on the other hand, the fastening is as reliable as possible, and the entire structure is hidden in the wall and does not take up space in the room. A built-in model may be the best option if the smart socket is planned to be used in a strictly defined place, without rearrangements.
Devices of this type usually have a single power socket, but there are exceptions (see "More features").
