— imitation of smoke is found exclusively in locomotives (steam locomotives) of railways (see "Type"). Typically, this uses a steam generator that creates a safe and odorless "smoke" from the locomotive's chimney; such a steam generator is filled with water or a special liquid. "Smoke" gives the toy engine an additional resemblance to a real locomotive.
