Lap counter

— the presence in the autotrack (see "Type") of a built-in counter that counts the circles passed by each machine.

This feature is only found on two-lane competition tracks: lap counting without a metre can be tricky, but the metre provides accurate readings and eliminates the need to count laps yourself.
