Nail puller

— specialized tool for extracting nails and other similar fasteners. A distinctive feature of nail pullers is the working part of a characteristic shape — flat, with a slot in the middle; this slot is used to pick up the nail heads.

Note that in addition to “just nail pullers”, in everyday life you can also find the names “nail puller-crowbar” and “nail puller-mount”. The first term is used mainly for tools where there is a bifurcated working part only on one side — on the other, a regular plane without a slot is provided. In turn, most pry bar nailers are double-sided; either end of this tool can be used to extract the nails (although, again, there are exceptions).
