The Ninebot E2 range includes quite simple and affordable electric scooters for short and medium city routes. They are designed as a more compact and mobile alternative to urban transport, allowing for a quick ride to the nearest metro station, office, or gym. Compared to the Ninebot D scooters, which have a similar position in the market, the load capacity is slightly reduced here, but the body is more compact, the design looks more modern, and more attention has been given to the electronics.

Most Ninebot E2 electric scooters are equipped with electric motors with a power of 250 to 350 W and can reach a maximum speed of 20 to 25 km/h. The range usually does not exceed 25 km. All models, except one, use front-wheel drive, front electronic brakes, and rear drum brakes, which provide predictable and safe stopping in city traffic. The base features 8-inch tires that are stable on asphalt, though not the most comfortable on tiles or uneven surfaces.

All Ninebot E2 scooters have a bright color display showing speed and battery charge, as well as a built-in headlight, turn signals, brake light, and support for the Segway-Ninebot mobile app. With its help, users can track mileage, adjust riding parameters, remotely lock the scooter, and use the built-in search system, similar in logic to Apple Find My. The only standout is the higher-end E2 Pro E modification, featuring 10-inch wheels, a 40 km battery, and support for RideyLONG technology, which extends the range to 40 km without needing an additional battery.
