PLA+

— a type of biodegradable PLA plastic with a set of additives that go beyond the usual composition. These additives provide the material with additional properties: a smooth glossy finish, improved interlayer adhesion, excellent layer fusion, high tensile and flexural strength, and reduced mechanical brittleness. Often, PLA+ plastic is odorless. The specific formula of additives can vary depending on the grade of plastic and the manufacturer of the raw material for 3D printing. It is worth noting that some PLA+ filaments can cause nozzle clogging, while other additives increase the required heating temperature. As a result, print settings need to be selected experimentally for each specific type of PLA+ plastic.
