Bolt

— a traditional bolt is an elongated rod with a head on one end and threads on the rest of the rod. In a classic application, such parts are usually combined with nuts, however, when attaching wheels, the bolt is usually screwed directly into the wheel hub — if the hole is threaded. If there is no thread, you usually have to use a nut with a stud instead of a bolt.
