— initially, wenge (African rosewood) has a colour in shades of brown — from golden to very dark. However, in interior doors, the second extreme is mainly used — the surface is made very dark, almost black, and this colour can also be called "ebony". There is also "light wenge" — a very light beige shade, but less often.
