— designed for the relatively tall body of a crossover or SUV and increased ground clearance. Such covers usually have more extra height and width than options for sedans or hatchbacks of comparable length. Before choosing, check the vehicle’s actual dimensions, as the sizes of compact and full-size SUVs vary considerably. A spare wheel mounted on the door, roof rails, a roof rack, and a spoiler may also require a roomier cover.
