The main chamber in such a refrigerator can be supplemented with special compartments such as a fresh zone and a humidity zone (see "Features"), but not a freezer — if it is available, the unit is already commonly referred to as a two-chamber (for more details, see "Number of chambers").Note that the capacity of refrigerators of this type can be both small and very large — 400 litres or more. At the same time, all of them have a vertical layout and refer either to the "classic" or to display refrigerators (see "Product type"). Of course, the functionality of single-chamber models is noticeably limited compared to units with several chambers. However, there are many cases where a single-chamber design is the best choice — for example, if the refrigerator is used in a hotel room, hospital room, etc., where a freezer is simply redundant, or if the household already has a separate freezer cabinet.
