— the vast majority of modern two-chamber refrigerators are equipped with a "classic of the genre" — a separate freezer, in addition to the main compartment. The specific capabilities of the freezer (temperature, freezing capacity) may be different, but anyway, it significantly expands the capabilities of the unit. And many users, in principle, consider such a chamber an indispensable element in equipping a modern refrigerator. At the same time, among the two-chamber units, there are other design options, in addition to the traditional one. So, in refrigerators of small capacity, the freezer can be located inside the main compartment, behind its own inner door. In some models, a zero compartment is used instead of a freezer (one of the options for a fresh zone — see "Features"). At the same time, the door in the design of such units is often made only one, common to both chambers. However, when the door is closed, the fresh zone turns out to be completely separated from the rest of the volume, which allows us to consider it a full-fledged chamber. Another case is individual models of freezers (see "Product type"), where two working compartments are provided between one. This arrangement allows for two temperature modes in one unit — for storing different types of products — and also reduces heat loss each time the door is opened.
