Refrigerators with LED display

LED display

— own display type LED, located outside the refrigerator — on the door or above it.

In this case, LED means the simplest screens that can display only numbers and a limited set of characters (unlike more advanced TFTs — see the relevant paragraph). On the other hand, such screens are inexpensive and can be installed even in low-cost models of refrigerators, and their capabilities are enough to display the main parameters of the unit: the temperature inside the chambers, data on various additional modes, error messages, etc. In some displays, additional functions may be provided — for example, a traditional clock or a freeze time countdown.
