They are indispensable for frequent switching on / off of any equipment, while the speed can reach several thousand starts per minute. A key feature of the contactors is the use of an electromagnetic drive and an electric arc extinguishing chamber in the design. Otherwise, contactors are similar to ordinary switches and relays. They are used where it is necessary to ensure high reliability of control equipment, they are often used to control the power supply of powerful motors.
