— a country washbasin is a rather large structure in the form of a characteristic cabinet with a sink. In the upper part of the cabinet there is a water tank and a tap, at the bottom under the sink there is a compartment for a used water tank, covered with a door. Additional equipment may include a mirror, soap dish, etc.

Such structures are designed for permanent placement in one place. Another difference from washstands is that washstands are designed mainly for indoor use (in extreme cases, outdoors under a canopy) and do not tolerate bad weather, sunlight and other adverse factors. So, in general, a washbasin will be a good solution for a country house, a makeshift house or other similar premises that are not connected to the water supply.
