Calipers
Caliper
— elements of the disc brake system of a bicycle, are placed on the frame or fork using a special adapter. The calliper is used when it is necessary to move the brake pads. Simply put, it sets the pads in motion, which compress and stop the disc when braking and spread out when the brake lever is released. Callipers come in single-piston and two-piston on each side. Elongated pads can be attached to parts of the latter type.Show
