— repair kits are repair kits with patches, glue, etc. They don't take up much space in your luggage, but they are also very useful for repairing punctures, small cuts and other small damages in the field. This function is relevant for inflatable and self-inflating products (see "Type"), in which the integrity of the shell is a prerequisite for normal operation.
