The subwoofer, in turn, provides powerful and rich bass that cannot be achieved on the speakers of the general range (it is usually more reasonable to use a separate “sub” for this purpose, rather than installing a bass speaker in each of the speakers). Anyway, this improves the sound, but it is especially desirable to have a subwoofer for sound in games and movies (for more details, see "Purpose"). However, of course, such kits are more expensive than 2.0 format systems, and they take up more space.
