Keystone Correction

— a technology that corrects keystone distortion in the image produced by the projector.

The perfect location for a projector is strictly opposite the centre of the screen (on a perpendicular passing through the centre), however, in fact, the device often has to be placed above or below, and sometimes also to the left / right. Because of this, the image is distorted: for example, if the projector is located high, the lower part of the “picture” is wider than the upper one. Keystone correction allows you to correct such distortions, bringing the image back to normal. Note that it can be carried out due to digital processing and somewhat reduce the image quality; however, if it is not possible to set the projector in the perfect position, correction is indispensable.
