— some microwave ovens have control knobs, with the simplest models having only two knobs for time and power settings. More advanced models with additional features may have buttons in addition to the knobs, and the most advanced option combines the knobs with sensors. Rotary knobs are particularly useful for setting certain parameters such as power or cooking time. However, the level of complexity and features of the control panel can vary depending on the price range of the microwave oven.
