CFexpress Type B

CFexpress Type B cards are used where maximum performance is crucial: for example, in continuous shooting in RAW, 6K/8K video recording, RAW video, or clips with very high bitrate.

It is worth noting that these cards are not compatible with other types, even with CFexpress Type A. CFexpress Type B cards are larger and faster, thus more commonly found in professional cameras where speed is more important than compactness. These cards are relevant for reportage, sports, wedding, and commercial shooting when the camera must quickly save large volumes of data without stopping recording or slowing down the series.
