Thermal surveillance cameras

Cameras of this type combine the advantages of optical and thermal models and mutually compensate for the disadvantages; it is interesting that they are much cheaper than classic thermal imaging devices. This is due to the fact that the thermal imager in this case is not intended to build a full-fledged image, but only as an accessory that supplements the data from classical optics — which means that the “thermal” part of the camera does not need advanced characteristics. So, due to the combination of affordability and practicality, such hybrid cameras are quite popular nowadays — much more popular than specialized thermal models.
