Vehicle detection

— the ability of a video surveillance camera to automatically recognize and highlight objects in the frame that are vehicles. This can be useful for monitoring traffic, controlling parking, or ensuring the safety of roads within a controlled perimeter. A more advanced implementation of this function is license plate recognition (see below).
