— a smaller version of the round "Edison" base, compared to the E27 familiar to many, has half the diameter (14 mm instead of 27 mm). Accordingly, light bulbs for such a cartridge also have a reduced size and are somewhat inferior in power to models for E27. Among table lamps, the E14 base is used mainly in miniature models.
