A desktop game console that combines the capabilities of a set-top box itself and a network media centre running Android 6.0. The basis of the hardware is the NVIDIA Tegra X1 chip with 3 GB of RAM and a video accelerator for 256 cores, and the built-in drive (solid state) holds 16 GB; however, if necessary, this volume can be expanded with a memory card or a USB drive connected via one of the two USB 3.0 connectors. There are no optical drives, the main source of games for the nVIDIA Shield game console is the NVIDIA GeForce Now network service, the use of which is paid (except for the first months). Through the HDMI 2.0 port, the device is capable of outputting 4K video and sound up to 7.1 more→to an external screen, there are no other multimedia interfaces. But wireless communications are represented by Wi-Fi ac and Bluetooth 4.1 modules. The standard package includes a game controller, but the “TV” remote will have to be purchased separately.

An advanced game console from the notorious company nVIDIA. Externally, the model looks like a gamepad with a 5-inch folding screen on board, which makes it comfortable in the hands. But at the same time, there is a powerful hardware hardware “under the hood”: a 4-core processor at 1.9 GHz, a GeForce ULP video accelerator and 2 GB of RAM. Of particular note is the ability to stream games from a PC via Wi-Fi, but only computers with an Nvidia graphics card older than the GTX650 model are supported. The device uses Android 4.2.1 as the OS.
