Composite connector

— complex analogue output for video and audio signal transmission. Like component (see the relevant paragraph), it uses 3 wires (and 3 separate RCA connectors), however, in this case, the video signal is transmitted only through one cable — the other two are responsible for the left and right stereo sound channels. Composite interface is easy to connect, moreover, it is found even in outdated video equipment. On the other hand, it itself is largely outdated — in particular, it does not support HD resolutions, and in general, the image quality is rather low.
