Goniometers
— tools for measuring angles between two parts, surfaces, etc.Any goniometer has two halves connected by an axis: they must be set according to the measured angle (for example, by placing the tool in this corner and opening the halves so that they fit snugly against the sides of the corner), after which the measurement result can be observed on a mechanical scale or digital display ( see Features/Characteristics). As a supplement, capsules can be provided in the design, allowing the tool to be used also in the same way as a conventional bubble level (see the relevant paragraph).
