Inclinometers
— a tool for measuring the inclination of segments and planes relative to the horizontal or vertical; some models may have the ability to measure relative to a user-specified slope. In fact, it is an advanced level that can not only determine the fact of deviation from the horizontal / vertical, but also measure the specific angle of this deviation. To do this, modern inclinometers are equipped with advanced electronics and digital displays (see "Functions / Capabilities"). At the same time, many models also have spirit capsules for use as a regular level, if accurate angle data is not needed and the electronic “hardware” can be omitted.
