Dumbbell typesetting

— a variety of dumbbells, which has a typesetting design: a handle (bar) plus disks (“pancakes”) of different weights put on it.

The advantage of this option over the classic non-separable models is obvious: by changing the discs on the neck, you can adjust the weight, adjusting the projectile to certain situations. In addition, the neck with a set of pancakes takes up very little space during storage. At the same time, note that sets of non-separable dumbbells also have their advantages. So, in order to change the working weight, it is enough just to take other dumbbells from the kit, while it takes additional time to replace the pancakes in the typesetting projectile. In addition, the kit can be used by several athletes at once (if they need different weight options). Thus, we can say that the typesetting models are designed mainly for personal use, but in public gyms it is desirable to have at least one set of traditional dumbbells.
