VG-2 protection

— the function of protection against police scanners that can detect the presence of a radar detector in the car. The operation of such scanners is based on the fact that the local oscillators in the receivers of radar detectors also emit weak radio waves; accordingly, upon detecting the work of VG-2, the anti-scanner turns off the receiver. Note that this function is relevant primarily for countries where radar detectors are prohibited, while protection is not one hundred percent. If there is no prohibition, it is better to use a model without an anti-scanner — it not only affects the cost of the device, but also can interfere with its normal operation, turning off the receiver in case of false positives from interference.
