— "Robot" is the common name for several popular models of automatic police radars that can independently record violations on the roads. Popularly, such radars are also called "birdhouses", for their characteristic shape and installation on poles. "Robots" use natural frequencies that are not covered by standard ranges, so their detection is possible only with detectors that were originally designed for this.
