— under this term, usually, carbon fibre is hidden — a material based on carbon filaments and a plastic base. It is considered very advanced because it allows you to create structures that are lightweight and extremely resistant to bending. However, all-carbon racquet bases are very rare, due to two reasons: high cost and non-compliance of this material with the rules established by the ITTF (although from a “playing” point of view, carbon has quite decent characteristics). In addition, the disadvantage of carbon fibre is its low impact resistance, which requires careful handling.
