— a phone strap is used to hold your smartphone more securely in your hand and reduce the risk of dropping it, especially when you are filming, walking in a crowd, or carrying the device without pockets. Straps can be worn on the wrist, around the neck, or across the shoulder, and they attach either to a case with lugs or through a thin insert-tab under the case that loops through an exposed slot.
