Tumblers

— glasses are usually called containers (usually made of glass) that do not have handles. The classic shape of a glass is round, but there are other options — square, faceted, curly, etc. In addition, such dishes can be made noticeably narrower at the bottom and resemble stemmed glasses in shape; however, in glasses there is no “leg” as such, its role is actually played by a very thick and narrow bottom. Vessels of this type can have almost any purpose (see the relevant paragraph); exceptions — martini, champagne, cognac.
