An incredibly accurate reproduction of the original Isle of Lewis chessmen. These impressive British made chess pieces have been commissioned by the National Museum of Scotland. The chessmen have been more→moulded from high resolution laser scans of the original pieces found in the museum. These historical figurines have become legendary and are undoubtedly the most unique and original looking chessmen available today. There is speculation that the pieces emerged from Norway but remained undiscovered for hundreds of years in the sandy beach of Uig bay.
