Alias games
Alias games
— the basic principle of Alias is that the player must explain to his team the word written on the game card, without saying this word. A successfully guessed word brings the team a point and allows you to move the chip across the playing field; the team that reaches the finish line first wins.According to the classic Alias rules, each turn lasts one minute, while the player explaining the word can speak, but does not have the right to use the word itself, its parts or derivatives (points are removed for this). At the same time, in one move, you can guess several words and advance the chip by several cells. Of course, you can play according to non-standard rules — for example, similarly to "window dressing", when the player does not have the right to speak and can only show the explained word with gestures, facial expressions and body movements. Also note that there are many varieties of Alias, with different sets of words, different headings for these words, and so on.
