Sudoku

— popular puzzle game based on numbers. The square playing field consists of 9 squares, each of which, in turn, is also divided into 9 cells. At the beginning of the game, some of these cells contain numbers. The player must fill in the empty cells with numbers from 1 to 9 in such a way that there are no two identical numbers on any horizontal, vertical or square. Simplified versions are also produced, for the smallest, with 2x2 squares and a playing field of 4 squares.

Sudoku is known mainly from newspaper publications or electronic applications; however, there are puzzles of this type produced as board games. The playing field in such a set usually has cells, and the numbers are made in the form of chips (chips with different numbers often differ in colour, for added convenience). The package also includes a booklet with a set of tasks: before the start of the game, the numbers are arranged according to the condition, then the player solves the resulting puzzle. Of course, the conditions can be taken not only from the complete booklet, but also from any other sources.
