— glass is used mainly in "designer" models, for which both practical characteristics and an attractive appearance are important. The upper part of the sink is usually made from it, while the bowl is made of stainless steel (for a number of reasons, glass is not suitable as a bowl material). In general, in terms of characteristics, such models practically do not outperform steel ones, and differ from them only in design. Therefore, it hardly makes sense to pay attention to them if you need only a practical element of the situation, and less; but for a kitchen in the original design, a glass sink can be indispensable.
