Infrared industrial heater

IR plate

— the name of this type of heater is because it provides heat transfer not due to air contact with a heated object but infrared radiation that occurs when the plate is heated. The key difference between an IR plate and other options is that it does not heat the air but objects that are under thermal radiation. Thanks to this, space heaters with such heaters can be used even outdoors, where other models are useless. But for the general heating of the room, they are much worse. Note that IR plates are installed mainly in diesel space heaters (see "Power supply").
