Fan

— a rake with a working part in the form of rather thin rods or strips, usually fanning out from the handle (hence the name); the bent ends of the rods / strips and form the teeth. These tools are great for raking debris, clearing leaves, thinning the lawn, and other similar tasks. Metal fan rakes with rigid rods can also be used for shallow aeration of the soil, however, in this case, the possibilities for soil cultivation are practically exhausted.

Note that in some of these tools, the width of the grip can be adjusted — with the help of a device that shifts and pushes the teeth apart.
