Vibroleg

— the name of such units is due to the fact that they really have a vertical rod with a sole at the end, vaguely resembling a foot. The size of the sole in such models is small — much smaller than in classic vibrating plates (see the relevant paragraph). On the one hand, this allows you to achieve high pressure and greater compaction depth with a smaller tool weight, and even in cramped conditions, the vibro-legs are very convenient. On the other hand, a small sole area negatively affects the performance and uniformity of the rammer.
