Cast iron

— a traditional material that has a number of important characteristics, and therefore is used in baths to this day. Moreover, cast-iron products are considered very advanced: they are durable, reliable, retain heat well (although for this the bath will have to be warmed up in advance), retain their appearance for a long time and are easy to clean. On the other hand, such models are not cheap, have a lot of weight (although in some cases this can be an advantage) and are produced only in classic shapes — rectangular or oval. Also note that when buying a cast-iron bath, you should pay attention to the wall thickness: if the product is relatively inexpensive, it most likely has thin walls that weakly hold heat and are sensitive to strong shocks.
