Eyepiece Distance Adjustment

— the ability to change the distance between the eyepieces in a binocular or trinocular microscope (see "Eyepiece"). For normal visibility, it is necessary that the distance between the lenses of the eyepieces correspond to the distance between the pupils of the user. This distance varies from person to person, so this setting may be required for comfortable use.
