Automatic watering

— the so-called "smart" pots are usually double-bottomed flowerpots - another reservoir is provided directly under the pot, where water is poured. The root system absorbs moisture through special holes in the inner pot - thus providing bottom watering of the plant. A special tube is installed inside the self-watering flowerpot for the delivery and dosing of liquid, and in advanced implementations, humidity control is assigned to specialized sensors that activate the water supply only when necessary. Self-watering systems do not allow plants to dry out if no one is home for a long time.
