Jeweller
— own development of Ajax Systems, a communication protocol created specifically for security systems — this is its fundamental difference from the Z-Wave and ZigBee standards (see the relevant paragraphs), which have a wider specialization. The creators of Jeweler claim such advantages as long range (up to 2000 m), high response speed (0.15 ms), low power consumption (up to 7 years of continuous operation in certain sensor models), support for multiple frequencies (with automatic switching when the level of interference increases or a jamming attempt), an advanced system of protection against failures and interference (with high-end encryption, accurate detection of the type of attack and hacked sensor, as well as jamming notification), as well as the ability to work up to 150 devices on one hub. Of the obvious disadvantages of this protocol, one can only note a limited application: Jeweler is supported only by devices from Ajax Systems (at least for now). However, special integration modules are available that allow you to connect such sensors to wired and wireless control panels from other manufacturers.
