Surround-view camera system
— auxiliary active safety system to assist the driver when maneuvering in tight spaces. Such systems consist of several cameras to provide all-round visibility (at least four in number) and a data processing unit. As a rule, the video from all cameras is combined into a single panoramic image, and the driver is projected a view of the car from above. An obligatory attribute of all-round visibility systems is the presence in the passenger compartment of the car of a multimedia screen for displaying images from cameras and projections of the top view.
