— protective fenders (shields) that cover the rear wheels and serve as an obstacle to dirt flying off them while driving. The presence of such shields is highly desirable when using the car in rainy weather or on wet ground / asphalt — the fenders protect at least those sitting on the pedal car from dirt, and less “extra” flies towards others.
