Rubber

— a material found exclusively in revolvers (see "Form Factor"), and infrequently — usually as an option in addition to plastic and/or wood. This is primarily due to the rather high cost of such handles. However rubber is softer than plastic / wood, which makes it comfortable in the hand and practically insensitive to shock; however, such shock resistance is extremely rarely necessary in fact, and convenience is a largely subjective moment, depending on the personal preferences of the shooter.
