— power steering fluids are special oils for lubricating the units of the power steering system. They are used to transmit force from the pump to the gyro cylinder, prevent "dry" friction of moving parts, prevent corrosion and premature wear of the mechanism elements. By analogy with automotive motor oils, power steering fluids are divided into three large camps by composition: mineral (from natural petroleum products), semi-synthetic and synthetic (obtained by organic synthesis). Products with different bases cannot be mixed: mineral oil is replaced with the same "mineral water", synthetic - only with "synthetics".
