— pillows based on artificial down are practically not inferior in terms of performance to models based on natural, they are just as soft, dense and elastic. However, an important difference between artificial down lies in its electrical conductivity — due to magnetization, hair can stick to artificial down pillows. Most often, artificial down is represented by the so-called swan down — this is a synthetic fibre based on polyester compounds, coated on top with a thin silicone film. It does not roll into a lump, has high elasticity and elasticity. Synthetic down pillows can be machine washed (quick wash with water temperature up to 30 °C).
